# Send and monitor a broadcast

Canonical: https://fonte.is/docs/broadcasts

Production approval is specific to one reviewed broadcast; Fonte executes and reports the resulting durable work.

## Authorize one reviewed operation

Connecting an agent is not approval to send. Fonte must obtain the existing production authorization through a deliberate customer interaction or a previously established bounded delegation, and enforce authority again when execution occurs.

The same sender readiness, audience restrictions, commercial limits, and sending controls apply in the app, CLI, and MCP. A test-send operation cannot bypass production enforcement.

## Read, pause, resume, and cancel

A broadcast remains inspectable after the original chat ends. Status must describe current work and outcomes without reconstructing the conversation. Pause, resume, and cancel requests are reconciled against authoritative state; email already accepted for sending may still arrive after a pause or cancellation.
