# Import your audience

An audience import is a durable result with a summary, errors, and an explicit reference that an agent can reuse without passing contact rows through conversation context.

## Bring a CSV once

A terminal-based agent needs a local-file upload path. A remote agent needs a concrete attachment transfer or secure upload handoff. Both paths should produce the same Fonte import reference and a summary of accepted, rejected, or unresolved rows.

The customer remains responsible for using an audience that expects the message. The agent should surface material formatting, consent, or audience-selection ambiguity instead of guessing.

## Contacts and audiences

Stored contacts are not automatically a production audience. Fonte resolves eligibility and exclusions for the selected broadcast, then freezes the authoritative recipient set when production authorization occurs.
