# MCP

MCP is the intended agent connection for completing the same first-broadcast journey as the CLI.

## Target contract

MCP must let an authorized agent discover or create explicit workspace context, transfer customer-provided files through a concrete path, prepare and inspect durable product state, obtain a customer-bound production approval, and resume after interruption. It is not a read-only information source or an authorization bypass.

Tools may differ from CLI commands, but must produce equivalent customer outcomes and use Fonte’s existing sending authority, safety, commercial, and stop controls.

## Current executable surface

No public MCP endpoint, connection instruction, or tool inventory is released yet. The target contract is published here so implementation can be judged against the customer experience rather than against internal route names.
